We wish to introduce the Digitronics eGovernment eTender/Procurement Package – comprising of Digitronics eTender® Software System. eTender® is a web-enabled software developed by Digitronics and will be running live on the Internet. It provides a platform for smooth administration of the tendering/procurement process.
• BPP/MDAs process Tenders using the eTender at no cost while the Contractors download/upload Tender Documents at a little fee.• It is a software that ensures due diligence of tender administration by giving as many companies as possible the opportunity to respond to tenders by downloading published tender documents and uploading their quotations on the internet.
• Once a tender is published the publisher does not have access to the quotations of contractors until after the closing date.
• The software avails contractors and the public the opportunity to see the uploaded tender opening session videos/pictures and also comment on and score the whole tender process and the contract execution.
• The transparency index of each establishment with reference to their published tender is computed using parameters including tender life span, uploaded live session, published award amount, verified budget balance etc.
• The tender Live Opening Session gives all stakeholders the opportunity to watch the tender opening session wherever they are, provided they log-on to the eTender live session. • The Citizens/Civil Society have the opportunity to monitor activities of each establishment.
• Other features include Budget, Appropriation, and Certificate of No Objection etc.
